Full Stack Software Engineer
I'm a software engineer who enjoys building things that interesting to me and impactul, whether that's a full-stack web app, a CLI tool, or a query engine from scratch. I spend most of my time working with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Rust, and I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of good engineering and real-world usefulness. I care about writing clean code, shipping things that people actually use, and always learning something new along the way.
A SQL query engine written in Rust from scratch. Full pipeline: parsing, AST construction, logical planning, physical planning, and columnar execution.
A cross-currency payments and money transfer platform built for African markets. Handles real-time exchange rates and includes a vendor marketplace.
A Rust CLI tool that takes SVG icons and converts them into typed React components. Built it to scratch my own itch and it picked up traction organically.
